RealFood Consulting worked closely with McMahon Associates to complete design development of Matt Jennings’ Townsman space in Boston, Massachusetts. The space presented a great opportunity for Chef Jennings with its location and visibility, but the layout, base building challenges and structural hurdles presented significant design challenges. RealFood worked with McMahon to present Chef Jennings with multiple configurations with both front and back of the house spaces.
The team worked closely with the client to distill all of these versions into a space that was highly functional for the operating team and highly appealing and rich for the guests. RealFood completed the full food service design, mechanical requirements, plumbing and electrical detail and custom fabrication details for all aspects of the restaurant design.
